Sioredas Inks Five for 2016

PHOENIX – The Grand Canyon University wrestling program and head coach Jon Sioredas announced the Lopes' 2016 recruiting class which included five wrestlers. Out of the five incoming wrestlers, two are from Arizona with others coming from Colorado, Missouri and California.
"The best part about this incoming class is their high character and high work eithic," Sioredas said. "That will integrate perfectly with our team's purpose and vision."
FloWrestling, the largest amateur wrestling website in the world, ranked Grand Canyon's 2015 incoming class as one of the top 30 in the Division I ranks in July. On the heels of last year's high-ranking class, Sioredas continues to bring elite competitors in to the GCU program with another highly-touted class for 2016.
"With two top 100 recruits and three others that are tough as nails, we are more than excited about our 2016 early signees," Sioredas said.
