Golembiewski wins Chandler Amateur

Grand Canyon University senior Jake Golembiewski won the 2010 Chandler Amateur Golf Tournament at Bear Creek Golf Course Sunday.
It is his second Chandler Am title. He also won the event in 2008.
He finished with a two-round total of 133, 9-under-par, with rounds of 69 (-2) and 64 (-7).
In July, Golembiewski was runner-up in the 86th AGA Arizona Amateur Championship.
He will be competing at GCU for the first time in 2010-11. A transfer from Division I Cal State Fullerton, Golembiewski is from Chandler and prepped at Tempe Corona del Sol before going to Mesa Community College.
GCU junior Tyler Wooldridge finished tied for 11th.
