LONG BEACH, Calif. -- Three more 'B' cut qualifying times and three school records were set during the second day of the Finis Collegiate Invitational Saturday.

Head coach Steve Schaffer called Saturday, with the inclusion of how the men's team fared, "the single most productive day, in terms of NCAA cuts, in the history of the team."
Sophomore Caitilin Hoffman (Gilbert, Ariz./Gilbert) had NCAA 'B' cut times in both the 200 IM (2:10.40) and 100 Backstroke (58.59). Senior Alexis Glessner (Mesa, Ariz./Red Mountain/N. Colorado) had a 'B' cut and new school record in the 500 Freestyle (5:05.92).
Other school records were set in the 200 Freestyle Relay with sophomore Brooke Bellah (Phoenix, Ariz./Christian), freshman Karlee Grundeis (pictured, Bakersfield, Calif./East Bakersfield), freshman Riley Smith (Phoenix, Ariz./Christian) and Glessner and in the 400 Medley Relay with Hoffman, Glessner, freshman Julie Redaway (Braine L'Alleud, Belgium/Ste Gertrude Nivelles) and Bellah. The 200 team finished in 1:40.64, while the 400 group clocked in at 3:58.66.
Redaway added a lifetime best in the 50 Freestyle (25.83). Others breaking personal best times were freshman Misha Teague (Peoria, Ariz./Centennial) in the 50 Freestlyle (29.58); freshman Yvette Ball (El Centro, Calif./Central Union) in the 50 Freestyle (26.59) and 100 Backstroke (1:05.66) and Grundeis in the 50 Freestyle (25.15).
The invitational continues through Monday.
