COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Grand Canyon University freshman Caitilin Hoffman (Gilbert, AZ/Gilbert High School) was named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week for women's swimming and diving.

Hoffman won the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:01.92 and set three new school records in the 100 butterfly (1:02.82), 100 breaststroke (1:14.91) and 200 IM (2:19.31) at the PCSC Relays hosted by California Baptist last weekend.

She placed seventh overall in the mid-distance pentathlon.
