Grand Canyon University's swim teams broke six school records at last weekend's University of Redlands Invitational.
Sophomore Eddy Salcido set a Thompson Aquatics Center (built in 1996) record, as well as a school record, in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 58.54.
He also set a new mark in the 200 breaststroke (2:13.20).
The 200 freestyle relay team of Charles Woodruff (pictured), Marque Hurd, Ben Hewitt and Salcido swam a school record time of 1:29.95.
The 200 medley relay of Will Crimmins, Salcido, Hewitt and Woodruff clocked in at a record time of 1:40.06.
Crimmins added a new standard in the 200 IM (2:06.20).
For the women, Brooke Bellah broke the 100 freestyle record with a time of 57.06.
The Redlands meet was only the second of the season. The teams broke nine marks at the PCSC Relays and Pentathlon Oct. 10-11.
