Boris Teoharevic enters his fourth season working with Grand Canyon University goalkeepers in 2017, assisting with the men's team.
Teoharevic brings an extensive soccer background to GCU, his alma mater. Presently, he is the Academy Director of Coaching at Sereno Soccer Club after beginning in May 2017.
In the past, Teoharevic has held coaching positions with Arizona Youth Soccer and is the Junior Stars Director of Coaching at CCV Stars Soccer Club, a position which he held from 2009-2017.
While with the CCV Stars Soccer Club, Teoharevic helped lead a program that brought home numerous accolades including No. 1 national rankings in 2015 for the U-14 Boys and U-11 Girls teams. Teoharevic was charged with the direction of 16 coaches and helped build the curriculum, organize and lead coaching education, and facilitate parent communication.
From 2010-2012, Teoharevic was the head men's soccer coach at Paradise Valley Community College. He helped lead the team to their first playoff appearance in five years and second appearance in school history.
Earlier in his coaching career, Teoharevic spent time with SC Del Sol and CISCO Soccer Clubs.
Teoharevic has numerous professional coaching certifications including an active United States Soccer Federation "A" License. He also holds certifications in NSCAA Goalkeeping (Level 1 & 2) and a United States Soccer Federation National Youth License as well as a USSF National Goalkeeping License.
His playing career spanned from 1991-2002, starting as a professional player for FC Partizan. While serving, Teoharevic played for the Yugoslavian Army Soccer Team before going on to play in Serbia, Montenegro, and Germany before coming stateside to play in the NPSL and USL. For the USL's Arizona Sahuaros, Teoharevic was inducted into the team's Hall of Fame.
Teoharevic has been married for 20 years and has two children, Filip and Nicolette. He graduated from Grand Canyon with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education in 2009.
