- Appeared out of bullpen during opening weekend before making a pair of midweek starts (March 1 at UC San Diego, March 9 vs. CSUN) and then returning to the bullpen for the remainder of the year.
- After rough first outing over opening weekend, rebounded to have an impressive season, posting a 2.96 ERA over his final 14 appearances.
- First career victory came against No. 4 Texas Tech on April 5, throwing 1 2/3 scoreless frames in the 9-4 Lopes win.
- Was the winning pitcher at New Mexico on April 26, tossing three scoreless innings.
- Made career debut on May 4 at Arizona, tossing one scoreless inning and recording his first strikeout.
- Did not pitch in shortened season due to injury.

- Due to lack of pitching opportunity, transferred to Thousand Oaks after sophomore season but had to sit out junior season due to transfer rules.
- First varsity game: struck out 14 and threw a shutout on Feb. 9, 2019.
- Tossed a no-hitter on March 27, which he cites as his top high school sports memory.
- Ended the regular season on a 31-inning scoreless-inning streak.
- Played under former Pittsburgh Pirates infielder and GCU graduate Jack Wilson.
