Grand Canyon incoming freshman
Baden Wandling was one of 107 high school student-athletes named to the United Soccer Coaches All-American Scholar list.
A total of 107 student-athlete, including 45 senior boys, were honored based on their cumulative achievement in the classroom and the soccer field during their high school careers.
Wandling starred at St. Benedict's Prep in Newark, New Jersey, during the 2024 season, when his team was ranked No. 1 nationally last fall by United Soccer Coaches. Wandling helped lead the squad to the New Jersey Non-Public A title. In three seasons at St. Benedict's Prep, Wandling totaled 20 goals and 19 assists and is a two-time national champion and three-time all-state honoree.

Junior Diouf, Wandling is one of two St. Benedict's Prep players to join GCU this fall. St. Benedict's Prep has won 15 national championships and was ranked No. 1 by NJ.com rankings in 2024.
