Junior forward scored twice in GCUβs road victory at Duke
Grand Canyon forward Bright Nutornutsi garnered WAC Offensive Player of the Week for the second consecutive week after his two-goal showing at Duke on Friday.

The junior led the Lopes in goals this past week, scoring twice in the first half for his second straight two-goal outing after also doing so in the season opener vs. Western Illinois. He became the first GCU player in the program's Division I era to score four goals through the first two games of the season.

The Accra, Ghana, native totaled three shots, two of which were on goal, as GCU split its North Carolina road trip last week. His season total of four goals ranks ninth in the country and leads the WAC, while his eight points are 16th best in the nation and atop the conference.

GCU (2-1) returns home to host Omaha at 7 p.m. Friday and Creighton at 7 p.m. Monday after facing each team in Nebraska last season.
