The Grand Canyon women's tennis team wrapped up a busy four-day stretch with a 6-1 home loss to Cal Poly on Sunday.
After playing two matches on Thursday and Friday in Hawaii, the Lopes (2-8) had to head straight back to Phoenix to face the Mustangs at the GCU Tennis Facility.
For the second straight match, freshman

Martina Lo Pumo at No. 2 and a 6-0 win over juniors
Autum Prudhomme and
Ludovica Infantino at No. 3.
In singles, GCU saw Infantino move up to No. 4 and pick up a convincing 6-3, 6-3 win. Prudhomme, at No. 6, forced a third set in her match by taking the second set 6-3 after dropping the first set 4-6. She lost the third-set tiebreaker in a tightly contested 12-10 game.
