Lundell, Chanen earn conference honors
Grand Canyon men's golfers Filip Lundell and Jake Chanen earned All-WAC honors.
After firing 10 rounds in the 60s this year, Lundell was named to the All-WAC first team honors. Chanen, the WAC Championship medalist winner, was selected to the All-WAC second team.
Lundell improved his stroke average by over one shot, averaging 72.33 this season. The senior won the UC Irvine Anteater Invitational earlier this season with a team-leading 20 par-or-better rounds.
Chanen edged Lundell as the GCU stroke average leader at 72.27. The junior won the WAC Championship and qualified for NCAA regionals. He recorded three top-10 finishes during the season.
