The Grand Canyon men's soccer team will play five matches this spring with an eye towards developing for the fall following its first Division I NCAA Tournament berth.
Four of the five matches this spring will be held at GCU Stadium where admission is free for all spring matches.
The spring kicks off with a matchup against MLS team FC Dallas, where GCU head coach
Schellas Hyndman was the head man for six seasons and led the club to the MLS Cup in 2010. The Lopes will square off with FC Dallas on Saturday, Feb. 16 at 12 p.m. at Tucson's Kino Sports Complex.
The remaining matches are scheduled throughout March and into early April where the Lopes will host the in-state foes Arizona Western, FC Tucson, Phoenix College and Embry-Riddle.
