GCU Lax Rally's Late; Falls to Wheeling Jesuit, 7-5

The Grand Canyon University lacrosse team dropped a 7-5 decision to Wheeling Jesuit today in Wheeling, W. Va. on a cold afternoon that had a snow and rain mixture falling throughout the game.
The Antelopes trailed 7-1 entering the fourth period before rallying to score four goals.
Drummond led the offensive attack, scoring a pair of goals with one assist.
The two teams each had 33 ground balls, while Wheeling out shot GCU 33-21.
The loss drops GCU’s overall record to 2-8.
The team will be in action tomorrow at 10 a.m. (Arizona time) when they travel to Bethany, W. Va. to face Bethany College.
