GCU Hosts Fall Invitational

The Grand Canyon University men’s golf team is hosting its annual Fall Invitational Oct. 3-4 at the Wigwam Resort on the Gold Course in Litchfield Park.
The field for the 2011 GCU Men’s Fall Invitational will include 19 teams (20 with GCU “B”) – host Grand Canyon, Academy of Art, Arizona Christian, BYU-Hawaii, California Baptist, CSU-Chico, CSU-East Bay, CSU-San Bernardino, Colorado Mesa University (Mesa State), Colorado State-Pueblo, Dominican, Ft. Lewis, MSU-Billings, Point Loma, Regis, Sonoma, University of Colorado-Colorado Springs, Western New Mexico, and Western Washington.
The tournament will begin with a 7:45 a.m. shotgun start and two rounds, 36 holes, being played today. Tournament play will conclude at the end of the third and final round which starts with a 7:45 a.m. shotgun start tomorrow, Oct. 4.
