GCU hosts "Bring Your Couch Night" Wednesday
Grand Canyon University soccer will host a fan appreciation night for its game against Cal State San Bernardino at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
The Antelopes have designated the game as "Bring Your Couch Night" for its fans. Antelope fans can watch the game from the comfort of their own couch.
It is the first student appreciation night game put on by the soccer team. Fans will have an opportunity to win prizes, t-shirts and a signed soccer ball at halftime.
"We want to show our appreciation to the students for their support, and this is one of the ways to do so," GCU coach Petar Draksin said. "We need all the students to show their school spirit by coming to the game."
Grand Canyon is 3-3-3 this year. Cal State San Bernardino is 5-6-1 entering this weekend's games.
