ANTIOCH, Calif. -- For the second time in three years, Grand Canyon won the Pacific West Conference men's golf championship.
For the first time, the title also earns the team an automatic bid into the NCAA West Super Regional.
GCU shot a 2-over-par 290 for the day and finished the 54-hole tournament at Roddy Ranch Golf Club Tuesday with an 866, six strokes better than 2008 champion Hawai'i Hilo.
The Lopes shot even par (288) for both Monday rounds.
