Antelopes lead by 4 strokes at Cowboy Classic

Grand Canyon shot a 12-under 548 as a team to take a four-stroke lead after two rounds of the University of Wyoming Cowboy Classic Terence DanielsMonday at Talking Stick Golf Club in Scottsdale.
UC Davis shot 8-under 552, and is in second place. No other school shot under-par in the first two rounds.
GCU is the only NCAA Division II school in the field, which also includes individuals from the University of Arizona.
GCU's Bentley Nakasawa and Terence Daniels (pictured) are tied for sixth after each shot 69-68 for a 3-under 137. Donald Zaruba III is tied for 17th at 1-under 137.
"All the credit goes to the players," Antelopes coach Keith Baker said. "We had a solid performance throughout the lineup, and that's what really makes teams successful in collegiate golf."
