SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Grand Canyon, the only Division II team in a 20-team event at Talking Stick Golf Club, is in 16th place after Monday's first two rounds.
The Lopes lead four Division I programs, Gonzaga, Utah, Weber State and UC Riverside. UC Davis leads the event.
The Lopes are 28-over-par and finished the day with a 588. UC Davis shot a 2-under-par 558.
GCU is only seven strokes out of 10th.
