Antelopes 5th after 1st day of CSUB Invite

Grand Canyon settled into fifth place after the first two rounds of the Cal State Bakersfield Invitational Monday, shooting a 7-over 583.

Cal State Stanislaus, Sonoma State and UCLA are all tied for first at 12-under 564.

GCU's Terence Daniels (pictured) shot 73-68 for a 3-under 141, and is tied for seventh. Stanislaus' Ben Van Vuren leads the event on the 7,008-yard Seven Oaks Country Club at 8-under 136.
