Robert Sims joined GCU in the summer of 2018 as a Graduate Assistant of Facilities and Operations. He previously served as a student worker for game operations from 2016-2018 while earning his Bachelors of Science in Sports Management from GCU. He has since held the role of Coordinator of Facilities and Operations before being promoted to Assistant Director of Facilities and Operations in October 2022.
Sims is currently working towards his MBA with an Emphasis in Sports Business from GCU with an expected graduation date in the spring of 2020.
While he was an undergraduate student at GCU, Sims also interned with the PGA Tour from 2016-2018. He was responsible or the volunteer program as well as several charity programs at the Charles Schwab Cup Championship. Sims also interned for the LPGA where he served in a similar position for the Bank of Hope Founders Cup in 2017.
