Remo Montalbano is in his second season with the Grand Canyon lacrosse program as defensive coordinator.
In his first season, the stingy ‘Lopes defense allowed only six goals per game on average.
Montalbano comes to GCU from Dominican College (NY) after serving one year as an assistant coach, working primarily with the faceoff groups and administering the strength and conditioning program.
A three-year captain and four-year starter at Dominican, Montalbano became a member of the 100-point club in 2010.
Montalbano went to Saugerties High School in Saugerties, NY, where he captained the lacrosse and hockey teams.
