- Began the season with 6.0 innings of two-run baseball against No. 22 Oklahoma State on Feb. 19, striking out what would be a season-high seven batters.
- After getting the opportunity to pitch in the weekend rotation, was moved to the bullpen in mid-March where he showed flashes of success throughout the season.
- Pitched 3.0 scoreless innings against UTRGV on April 23, striking out three in a GCU come-from-behind win.
- Ended the season at home with 2.0 innings of one-hit baseball against San José State on May 10.
