The 54th-ranked Grand Canyon men's tennis team played its fourth match in five days Wednesday when it dominated UC Riverside 7-0 without losing a set at GCU Tennis Facility.

GCU started doubles play with a familiar theme as the sophomore duo of
Tristan Berard and
Andreas Loizas (ranked 90th as a doubles team) won 6-0.

Lopes sophomore
Daniel Jankoski and junior
Brice Patoux finished the job, defeating Andrew Lavine and Noris Nedelcovici 6-2 to clinch the doubles point for a 1-0 GCU lead.

In singles, the Lopes went right to work starting with Patoux, who was coming off his lone loss of the season and bounced back to defeat Lucas Mszyca 6-1, 6-0.

Jankoski only lost two games in his two-set match. The Australian won 6-1, 6-1, securing the point for the Lopes on Court 4 for a 3-0 edge.

Loizas continue to show he is rounding into form since moving to Court 2, where he swiftly won 6-1, 6-4 to clinch the team dual victory at 4-0.

On Court 1, Berard won his seventh consecutive match by downing Lu Ibarrondo Suarez 6-1, 6-4.

GCU sophomore
Diordan Macababbad got his first victory on Court 3 with a 6-4, 6-2 match that makes him 9-4 on the season in singles. The Mountain West Player of the Week,
Charlie Pade, secured the seventh point for the Lopes, winning his Court 6 match 6-4, 7-6 (8-6).

GCU will head to Las Vegas on Friday to take on UNLV before facing Utah as a neutral-site match.
