GCU lost 5-2 at Arizona on Sunday, following its 1-0 win at home vs. Idaho on Thursday.
A missed Loera penalty kick attempt in the first half, and an immediate Arizona goal after GCU's first score, kept the Lopes from a comeback.
GCU junior goalkeeper Emma Knack earned her fourth shutout of the season in the win over Idaho, marking GCU's first win at home this season.
AROUND THEÂ MOUNTAIN WEST
Grand Canyon joins the Mountain West this fall, making the Lopes the 13th team in the conference for 2025.
Each team in the MW will play 10 conference matches (five home, five away) over a six-week period.
The top six teams will make the Mountain West Championship in Boise, Idaho, with the winner of the tournament collecting an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

SCOUTING NORTHERN ARIZONAÂ
This is the 11th all-time meeting between NAU and GCU, with the Lumberjacks holding a 6-4 advantage.
GCU last played Northern Arizona in Phoenix last season, when the Lopes won 1-0. Brenna Alderson scored the game-winner in front GCU Stadium's largest crowd in program history.
