GCU hosts Idaho on Thursday night, travels to Arizona on Sunday

Grand Canyon hosts Idaho on Thursday evening and then heads to Tucson for a Sunday road match at Arizona this week.
AT A GLANCE
The Lopes dropped their last match at home 1-0 to Sam Houston. GCU fired 27 shots, only landing seven on goal.
GCU is undefeated on the road, winning three straight by shutouts at CSUN, Portland State and Oregon.
Sophomore midfielder Tatum Hofstetter took home Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week for Week 3, after assisting the game-winning goal against Portland State and scoring at Oregon.
Lopes junior goalkeeper Emma Knack took home MW Defensive Player of the Week for Week 3Â after shutting out Portland State and Oregon on the road. Knack has three shutouts on the year.
The Lopes' 12 saves against Oregon is the most single-game team saves in the Mountain West this season.
GCU junior Madison Hamm leads the team with two assists, both of which were on game-winning goals.
Lopes senior midfielder AJ Loera is three assists away from the program's all-time record of 18, set by Marleen Schimmer and Leah Pirro.
Sophomore forward Ellie Johannes, junior forward Neve Renwick and Loera were all named to the Mountain West Preseason Watch List.Â
The GCU roster features seven Arizona natives, including three transfers who returned home this year and three freshmen.
LAST TIME OUT
GCU lost 1-0 to Sam Houston on Friday at GCU Stadium.
Renwick returned to game action from injury, accumulating six shots in just 30 minutes of play.
The Bearkats' 80th-minute goal marked the first goal GCU had given up in 360 minutes of play.
MOUNTAIN WEST QUICK FACTS
Grand Canyon joins the Mountain West this fall, making the Lopes the 13th team in the conference for this season.
Each team in the MW will play 10 conference matches (five home, five away) over a six-week period.
The top six teams will make the Mountain West Championship in Boise, Idaho, with the winner of the tournament collecting an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
GCU has the fourth-best nonconference record in the Mountain West behind Colorado State, New Mexico and Wyoming.
Colorado State was ranked 25th in this week's United Soccer Coaches Top 25.
Wyoming knocked off No. 15 Georgia last week in Athens.
SCOUTING IDAHO & ARIZONA
This is the fifth all-time meeting between Idaho and GCU.
The all-time record between the teams in 2-2, with the home team winning each match.
Idaho is coming off a 1-1-1 home stretch that includes a draw with Washington State and a victory over UTEP.
This is the fifth all-time meeting between Arizona and GCU.
The Lopes lost to the Wildcats 1-0Â last season in the season opener at GCU Stadium.
Arizona is following up a 1-1 home week that included a 2-1 win over Denver and 3-0 loss to Pepperdine, which received votes in this week's Top 25 poll.
