Allan Rosales to join the Lopes for a season that starts next month.
The duo brings in back-line experience, and each transfer earned all-conference awards a season ago.
Ibarra spent the past two seasons at Milwaukee, where the native of Monterrey, Mexico, started all 35 games and tallied 149 saves, seven shutouts and a .753 save percentage in 2024. Ibarra recorded back-to-back 70-plus save seasons, including 76 a year ago en route to being honored on the All-Horizon third team.
He had 10 games with four or more saves last season, including an eight-save effort in a 4-1 victory over Oakland. He totaled four saves in the Horizon Tournament semifinals, receiving All-Horizon Tournament Team accolades in the process to cap his .800 save percentage season with a 1.06 goals against average.
Rosales spent 2024 at Mt. San Antonio College, a junior college where he totaled five goals and six assists with a .600 shot-on-goal percentage. Three of his five goals proved to be game winners for the Mounties, who went 14-4-4. Rosales was named an All-SCC North first-team honoree and a Junior College Division III United Soccer Coaches All-American.
GCU's first match of the 2025 season is an exhibition at home versus Eastern Arizona on Aug. 16. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at GCU Stadium, where the season opener will be Aug. 21 at 7 p.m. versus Jacksonville.
