Grand Canyon's busiest stretch of the season concludes with the regular-season finale in Maricopa, where the Lopes will partake in the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club on Wednesday and Thursday.
The Cowgirl Classic will be the Lopes' fourth tournament since March 10 and third in Arizona. The Lopes are gearing up for the WAC Championship, which is also in-state at Wigwam Golf Club in Litchfield Park on April 14-16.
This week, the Lopes look to right the ship after a ninth-place finish at nearby Papago Golf Club on Sunday in the PING/ASU Invitational. Of the five spring tournaments since February, GCU won two team championships, placed 11th twice and finished ninth once.
Fifteen teams will compete in Maricopa, including fellow WAC members Southern Utah and California Baptist.
The rest of the field includes: host Wyoming, UNLV, Eastern Washington, UTEP, Sacramento State, South Dakota State, Iowa State, North Dakota State, Montana, Santa Clara, Northern Colorado and North Idaho.

GCU will play 36 holes Wednesday over rounds one and two, and conclude play Thursday with 18 holes.
