A local standout will stay in the Valley and call Grand Canyon home as forward Caden Dosmann has signed with the Lopes.
Â
A Gilbert, Arizona, native and Perry High School alumnus, Dosmann left his mark on the high school soccer ranks as one of the state's best players with multiple accolades that includes Arizona boys soccer's Gatorade Player of the Year in 2023.
Â
Dosmann was a four-year starter for Perry, scoring 16 goals and tallying 12 assists last season as a senior en route to Class 6A Player of the Year and Premier Region Player of the Year recognition. He helped Perry finish 19-2-3 last season and capture the 6A state championship titlle, his second state championship.
Â
As a sophomore, Dosmann led the team in goals and points, earning all-region honors. He led his team in both categories again in his junior season and led the region in points. His leap from sophomore to junior season earned him a plethora of honors including 6A Player of the Year, Premier Region Player of the Year, district Player of the Year and Gatorade's honor as the best boys soccer player in Arizona. He was named to the 2023-24 USA Today Boys Soccer Player of the Year watch list prior to his senior season.
Â
Dosmann also played club soccer with Phoenix Rising Youth Soccer Southeast Valley 05/06B Predator team.
Â
