FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The Grand Canyon women's tennis team got back in the win column with a 4-0 sweep over Air Force on Friday night.
The Lopes picked up their 10th win of the season and bounced back from a close road loss last week. GCU cruised to the doubles point with wins at Courts 1 and 3 while the middle of the singles lineup delivered the wins needed for the sweep.

Santa Strombacha picked up a 6-2 win at the No. 1 court while GCU freshmen
Iva Sepa and Elizaveta Morovoza won 6-4 at Court 2.
In singles, the Lopes continued their hot play with a pair of straight-set wins at the heart of the lineup. Sepa only lost one game in her 6-0, 6-1 win at Court 4 while her doubles partner, Morozova, won 7-5, 6-2 win at Court 3.
At the top singles court, Puehse had to go the distance but delivered another win with a 6-1, 4-6, 6-0 victory at the No. 1 court. Her doubles partner, Strombacha, was locked in a second-set tiebreaker when her match was left unfinished.
The bottom two courts did not play as the match was clinched before they could start.
GCU will wrap up the road trip with at Colorado State at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
