"We also expect to have a big day tomorrow in the triple jump and pole vault too," Flood said.
The two-day event concludes on Saturday with the Lopes looking to bring home hardware.
"While it's always nice to have the lead after any day of a meet, we are focused having the lead at the end of the meet tomorrow," Flood said. "We will fight for every point throughout the day and leave it all out on the track."
Saturday's events begin at 9 a.m. with an expected conclusion at approximately 6 p.m.
