The Grand Canyon women's basketball team hosts Seattle U in its final regular-season conference games before heading to Las Vegas for the WAC Tournament. Three teams, including the Lopes and Redhawks, are tied for second place in the WAC standings.

Saturday's game will be broadcast on Fox 10 Xtra (Ch. 45 / Cable 9) and ESPN3. The games also will be shown on GCUTV and YouTube.

GCU will honor seniors Ny'Dajah Jackson and Chloe Akin-Otiko before Saturday's game.

THREE THINGS TO KNOW

NO. 2 SEED AT STAKE: GCU, Seattle U and Utah Valley are tied at 6-4 in WAC play for second place. A Lopes sweep this weekend would secure at least a top-three spot and a chance at claiming the No. 2 seed in the WAC Tournament.
NATIONAL STEALS LEADER: The Lopes lead the nation with 14.2 steals per game and rank second nationally with 24.5 opponent turnovers per game.
FRESHMEN STANDOUTS: Two Lopes freshmen are averaging double-digit points this season: Katie Scott (16.7) and Tiarra Brown (10.7).

SCOUTING

Four Redhawks are averaging double-digit points, including McKenzi Williams, Bree Calhoun, Georgia Kehoe and Courtney Murphy.
Williams is right behind Scott in the conference with 16.2 points per game.
Calhoun leads the conference with 3.5 steals per game, which ranks No. 3 in the nation. She also sits at No. 6 nationally for assists with 122.
GCU leads the all-time series against Seattle U with a 9-7 record.

LAST TIME OUT

GCU dropped two games to California Baptist (20-0, 12-0 WAC). The Lancers clinched the WAC regular-season title with six conference sweeps.

Game 1

GCU dropped the first game of the series with California Baptist in an 81-77 overtime heartbreaker at CBU Events Center.
Scott had 14 points by halftime and finished with another 20-plus point game to her freshman campaign. She shot 9 for 16 from the field for 26 points to go with eight rebounds, three assists and a steal.
Lopes freshman guard Tiarra Brown dominated the third quarter with nine points. Brown finished with 19 points, seven rebounds, three steals and two assists.

Game 2

The Lopes started the game strongly but fell to California Baptist 79-64 in the second of a two-game weekend series on Saturday.
Brown led the Lopes with a 16-point, 10-rebound effort and added three assists.
Two other Lopes joined Brown in double-digit scoring, including junior Laura Piera with 13 points and five assists and Scott with 12 points and seven rebounds.
