Taylor named director of operations

GCU alumnus spent 2025-26 as graduate assistant
Grand Canyon women's basketball staffer Maluai Taylor was elevated to the role of director of operations after serving as a graduate assistant during the 2025-26 season.
Taylor joined the program during her senior year, the 2024-25 season, as GCU's head student manager.
As a graduate student last season, she oversaw the student managers and helped organizational tasks including meals, equipment, travel and scheduling for the staff and student-athletes.
From Oceanside, California, Taylor graduated from GCU in 2025 with a bachelor's of science in Applied Management with emphasis in Sports Management and is in the process of earning a dual master's in Business Administration and Leadership.
