The Grand Canyon women's golf team heads to The Clash at Boulder Creek at the Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nevada. The three-day invitational, hosted by Northern Arizona, will have three rounds with the first starting Sunday at noon. (Phoenix time)
THREE THINGS TO KNOW
- FINAL FALL TOURNAMENT:Â The Lopes will compete in their final tournament of the fall season. GCU has finished fourth in its past two events this season.
- TRAVELING SIX:  GCU travels three seniors and three sophomores for the fourth weekend in a row. Seniors Siripatsorn Patchana, Payton Fehringer and Alexis Linam look to lead the Lopes to a top finish in the 14-team tournament. Sophomores Carly Strole, Constanza Guerrero, and Lani Luafalealo will also be making the trip. Linam will be playing as an individual and the remaining five will make up the Lopes squad.
- LARGEST TOURNAMENT: The Lopes will compete against 17 teams for the largest field the Lopes have faced in this season.
CLASH AT BOULDER CREEK
The tournament field includes host Northern Arizona, California Baptist, Fresno State, Gonzaga, GCU, Long Beach State, North Dakota, Portland State, Sacramento State, San Francisco, Seattle, South Dakota State, Southern Utah, UC Riverside, UNLV, Utah Valley, Weber State and Wyoming. All 18 teams will take on the par-72, 6,309-yard course with a shotgun start at noon Sunday and 18-hole rounds on Monday and Tuesday, each beginning at 8 a.m.

LAST TIME OUTÂ
The Lopes tied for fourth place Sunday in the 16-team Ron Moore Intercollegiate. GCU matched host Denver at 2 over par, trailing champion Cal Poly and runner-up East Tennessee State and missing host Denver by one stroke for third place. Five Lopes cracked the top 33 with Patchana tying for ninth place by shooting 3 under par in her final round of play on Sunday. Patchana finished her best round of the tournament, sinking six birdies at the Highlands Ranch Golf Club. GCU sophomore
Lani Luafalealo shot 1 under par in her final round and tied for 13th.Â
WHAT'S NEXT?
The Lopes will begin the spring season at The Valley Invitational, hosted by Cal Poly and CSU Bakersfield on Feb. 7-8 in Bakersfield, California.
