The Grand Canyon tennis teams will be in action Thursday through Sunday at the ITA Southwest Regional in Malibu, California.

The men will compete at Pepperdine while the women will travel south to San Diego.

Both ITA regionals will showcase the best competition from across the Southwest. Both teams will face competitors from 12 schools, including USC, UCLA, Arizona State and San Diego. The Lopes will compete in 128-player singles draws and a 64-pair doubles draws for men and women.

The men last competed at the Aztec Fall Invitational at San Diego State from Oct. 4-6. Freshman duo
David Weber and
Laurent Magne won a consolation doubles bracket while senior
Valentin Lang advanced to a consolation final in singles. Lang also teamed up with Jakub in doubles, finishing with three wins and a 6-0 win over Arizona's Nick Lagaev and Jared Horwood.

The women last competed three weeks ago at the SDSU Fall Classic from Sept. 27-29. Junior
