Lorenzo Fucile were also named the WAC Doubles Players of the Week winning both of their matches from the No. 1 doubles position.
The women also played at home last week, winning a dramatic 4-3 match over Drake. The Lopes earned their first ever win over the Bulldogs thanks to
Emilia Occhipinti who clinched the match in tiebreakers in the third set at the No. 1 position. For her efforts, Occhipinti was named the WAC Singles Player of the Week on the women's side.
The women's team will face Southern Utah (0-2) and Nevada (2-0) on Friday and Saturday afternoon.
