The Grand Canyon University baseball games with Bakersfield on Friday and Saturday night at Brazell Stadium will now start at 7 p.m., rather than the originally scheduled 6:30 p.m. Sunday's game time of 12 p.m. will remain the same.

The weekend series is the biggest yet for both squads, as GCU sits atop the WAC leaderboard, with Bakersfield trailing by just one game in the standings. Both teams are coming off of marquee wins, as GCU recently swept nationally-ranked Texas Tech in a two-game midweek series in Lubbock, Texas, while Bakersfield earlier in the week defeated No. 6 UC Santa Barbara. The 'Runners also knocked off nationally-ranked Arizona State back in February.
