The Grand Canyon University baseball team made the jump from 23rd in last week's poll into ninth place in the latest
Collegiate Baseball Division II Poll. GCU also retained their second-place ranking in the latest National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association poll, both of which were released today. The Antelopes are 26-5 overall and 19-1 in Pacific West Conference play.
Fellow conference member Dixie State is ranked sixth, California Baptist is eighth, and Hawai’i Pacific is ninth in the West.

GCU is led offensively by
Derek Mendoza with a .404 batting average (38-for-94) and team-high 28 RBI, tied for fourth-most in the PacWest.
Steven Swingle leads all conference batters with six triples on the season. On the mound,
Coley Bruns is a perfect 6-0 with a 1.24 ERA (6 ER in 43.2 IP), while
