Kristen Preach was selected the Pacific West Conference Women’s Volleyball Player of the Week for matches played Sept. 17-23.
The conference announced the honor Sunday.
Preach helped lead GCU to a 2-0 week, with wins over Hawai’i Hilo and Chaminade. She averaged 12.83 assists and 1.5 blocks per set for the 15th-ranked Antelopes.
She totaled nine blocks, two solos and seven assists, and 77 assists in a pair of 3-0 victories.
Preach ranked second in assists per set and tied for fourth in block average for the week in the PacWest.
She also contributed offensively, ranking second in hitting for the week in the conference with a .500 percentage. She posted 13 kills in 24 attempts with just one error.
