Grand Canyon volleyball heads to Reno, Nevada, for its first conference weekend of the regular season, facing Nevada (2-8) on Thursday and Friday.Â

- GCU third-year head coach Kendra Potts has a career record of 162-50Â (.764) that places her ninth among active NCAA coaches.

- Grand Canyon volleyball split two matches at the Jayhawk Classic, rallying past Ole Miss in four sets Saturday before falling in straight sets to No. 22 Kansas on Sunday. The Lopes hit .379 over the final three sets against Ole Miss, while Katie Schulz led GCU with 14 kills in the comeback victory and added a team-high eight kills against Kansas. GCU finished nonconference play at 6-5.Â
