The Grand Canyon University women's team swept Western New Mexico 9-0 in its final game of the GCU Tennis Invitational this morning at the Paseo Pacquet Center in Glendale.
The Antelopes led 3-0 after doubles, recording an 8-0 win at No. 1, 8-0 at No. 2 and 8-2 at No. 3.
The trend continued in singles. GCU won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1; 6-0, 6-2 at No. 2; 5-0 (injury default) at No. 3; 6-0, 6-0 at No. 4; 6-2, 6-1 at No. 5; and 6-0, 6-0 at No. 6.
