Grand Canyon begins a key Pacific West Conference five-match road test Saturday at Dominican University of California (0-12, 0-3).
The ’Lopes (8-6, 2-4) take on the Penguins at 7 p.m.
On the northern California trip, GCU plays Dominican and Notre Dame de Namur (2-17, 2-5) twice each and have one contest with Academy of Art (5-9, 2-2).
GCU will play at Academy of Art in San Francisco at 7 p.m. Tuesday. The 'Lopes head back to San Rafael, Calif. Wednesday for a 7 p.m. match against Dominican. The games against NDNU in Belmont, Calif. are Friday and Saturday, Oct. 15. Friday's contest begins at 7 p.m. Saturday's first serve is set for noon.
GCU's next home match is Oct. 17 against Chaminade at Antelope Gymnasium. It's the first of three straight home contests. The 'Lopes take on Chaminade again on Oct. 18, in a non-conference match, and Hawai'i Pacific Oct. 22. All three matches begin at 6 p.m.
