GCU Track & Field signs men's dynamic duo

The JUCO dynamic duo of Tyler Sipes and Clark Coyle of Mesa Community College have signed national letters-of-intent to compete for Grand Canyon University’s Track & Field program.
Tyler, from Bloomington High School in Indiana, was the 2010 NJCAA National Indoor Champion in the 60 meter hurdles. In both 2007 & 2008, he was the AA Indiana High School State Champion in the 110 meter hurdles and runner-up in the 300 meter hurdles. His personal bests include a time of 7.93 in the 60m hurdle, 14.24 in the 110m hurdle and 37.74 in the 300m hurdle.
Clark, from Mesa High School, was the 2010 NJCAA Region I 400m hurdles runner-up and the 2008 5AI AZ State runner-up at 800 meters. His personal records include a time of 48.24 in the 400m, 52.04 in the 400m hurdle and 1:54.10 in the 800m.
“The signing of both Tyler and Clark will definitely help put GCU men’s T&F on the map,” Coach Flood announces. “They are both National caliber student-athletes.”
