Ahmad Saleem, who has signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the Grand Canyon University men's tennis team next season, will be on the “Varsity Zone” television show at 10 p.m. this Friday on KTVK (channel 3).
Saleem is a senior at Desert Vista High School in Phoenix, where he plays No. 1 on the 5A varsity team.
“Bringing Ahmad Saleem to the GCU men's tennis team is a major step in our new team's history,” Head Coach Greg Prudhomme said. “He is a great tennis player, a great person and comes from a great family.
“He is very well respected in the state as a person and a player. He will help put GCU tennis on the map.”
Saleem has a 3.5 GPA, and his accomplishments include:
