GREENSBURG, Penn. -- This is true: Grand Canyon got better overnight. Scott Franks
But the harsh reality of another loss didn't make it any easier. GCU lost to No. 10 Seton Hill Monday afternoon, 21-11, completing a three-game road trip to the East Coast. It was the fifth straight game Grand Canyon has met a ranked opponent.
The Antelopes (1-12) hung with Seton Hill (6-3) in all but the second period when the Lopes were outscored, 6-1.
Considering GCU has been down a few key players on this trip and considering it didn't roll over after two stinging defeats, this one was something for the Antelopes to hang their hats on.
Patrick Murphy scored four goals and had an assist to claim the team scoring lead with 18 goals and 26 points. Scott Franks (pictured) had a goal and three assists.
