Whitney Estes begins her fifth season as an assistant coach with the Grand Canyon volleyball program and has been an assistant for two seasons with the sand volleyball team.
Estes finished her career in 2009 and she finished strong, being named second team all-Pacific West Conference, as well as to the league’s all-academic team.
She led GCU in total kills (219). For her career, she finished with 734 kills and 165 blocks.
She was twice named to the PacWest All-Academic team and was an honorable mention all-league choice in 2008. She was a two-time all-region choice in high school at Douglas High in Gardnerville, Nev
