Two Grand Canyon volleyball players received All-Mountain West honors, led by Lopes freshman setter/opposite
Bella Nunez being named to the All-Mountain West team.
The Lopes, who earned the No. 4 seed for this week's Mountain West Championship, picked up another accolade with senior outside hitter
Anaelena Ramirez an honorable mention.
The Mountain West lists one all-conference team of 18 athletes, as well as the honorable mentions.

Nunez landed eight triple-doubles this season, averaging 2.38 kills per set, 4.53 assists per set, 2.61 digs per set and 2.87 points per set in conference play. The native of El Paso, Texas, earned four MW Freshman of the Week awards and one MW Offensive Player of the Week honor.
Nunez's standout matches included 17 kills with a .455 hitting percentage, 24 assists, 12 digs, five blocks and 19.5 points at San Diego State. She also posted 15 kills with a .343 hitting percentage, 16 assists, 13 digs, four blocks and 17 points at New Mexico. At San José State, Nunez tallied 15 kills with .323 hitting, 20 assists, 14 digs, two blocks and 17.5 points.

In her final season with the Lopes, Ramirez collected 369 kills with 75 blocks and 416.5 points.
Also from El Paso, Ramirez has been a Lope for her entire collegiate career. She ranks fourth in the program's Division I era for career kills with 723 in 94 matches.
Ramirez's standout matches from the season included a 20-kill performance against Washington State with .236 hitting, four blocks and 22.5 points. She also tallied 23 kills with .290 hitting against Pepperdine and 20 kills against Wyoming with .327 hitting, 12 digs, five blocks and 22.5 points.
