Ettore Zito joined the Grand Canyon men's and women's tennis programs in August 2015 and will serve his first season as graduate assistant, working toward an MBA with a sport business concentration. Zito will assist with on-court development and recruiting with the Lopes.Â

As a student-athlete, Zito helped his alma mater, Middle Tennessee State, to the 2012 Sun Belt title as he was a three-time All-Conference USA selection. He ranked as high as No. 60 in the nation in singles and No. 80 in doubles during the 2014 season.Â
A native of Siracusa, Italy, Zito graduated from Middle Tennessee State in 2015 with a bachelor's degree in international studies with a business administration minor.Â
