Sebastian Brandon enters his first year at GCU as a performance specialist, serving the women’s soccer and men’s and women’s tennis programs.
Before joining the Performance Athletics staff, Brandon served on the strength and conditioning staff at Merrimack College in North Andover, MA as a graduate fellow. During his year there he served as the primary performance coach for women’s soccer and men’s tennis while assisting with football, men’s and women’s ice hockey, men’s lacrosse, and softball.
Brandon joined the Merrimack College staff after working as an intern at Reach Your Potential Training, a private sports performance facility in Tinton Falls, N.J.. During his time there he worked with hundreds of athletes ranging from middle school to professional in a variety of different sports.
Raised in Warren, N.J., Brandon completed his undergraduate degree at James Madison University in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science, his graduate degree at Merrimack College in Exercise and Sport Science and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
