Jordan Day was named assistant coach of the Grand Canyon women's soccer program in May of 2016. Day will primarily serve as the team's goal keeper coach.

Day comes to GCU after a prolific career at Texas A&M. As the Aggies goal keeper, she played in 86 career matches including 79 starts. She ended her career with a .795 save percentage, winning 59 career matches ranking third all-time in Texas A&M history. Day was a three-time All-SEC selection and an National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-South Region First Team selection in 2012.

She also shares the school record for most career shutouts with 32 clean sheets while leading the team in goals-against average (.88), saves (279) and wins (59) in all four seasons with the Aggies.

Day is a native of Phoenix, Ariz. and went to Basha High School in Gilbert, Ariz. Her younger brother is currently the GCU men's soccer team goal keeper.
