Missy enters her third season as an assistant coach at Grand Canyon University. She will be responsible for all the throwing events.
Faubus graduated from Colorado State University in 2009 with a Liberal Arts degree. While a member of the Rams’ track & field program, Missy competed at the 2008 & 2009 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field National Championship in the discus. She also was the Mountain West Conference discus champion in both 2008 and 2009. Missy was voted the 2009 Fort Collins Rotary Club Track & Field Athlete of the Year. Prior to Missy outstanding career at CSU, she competed for two years at the University of California at Berkeley. She has participated on two Junior National Teams, 2004 World Junior Track & Field Championships in Grosseto, Italy and at the 2005 Pan-American Track & Field Championships in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
